You will be responsible for the following: Screen for risk factors in the diabetic foot and determine the corresponding risk level. Recognise diabetic foot conditions and refer patients to the doctor/podiatrist for management. Deliver education on diabetic foot care to patients and/or caregivers. Provide clear documentation on the results of the diabetic foot screening. Adhere to legal, ethical, professional, departmental and organisational policies such as good infection control practices. Take part in activities that promote awareness of Podiatry.
Higher Nitec with GCE ‘N’ or ‘O’ Level. WSQ Higher Certificate in Therapy Services will be an advantage. Willing to travel to different polyclinics Service orientated with good listening and interpersonal skills. Able to work well both independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team. Proficient in Microsoft Office.
