Maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and organization within the kitchen and food & beverage operations. This position supports chefs and service staff by ensuring that all kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils meet the highest standards of sanitation, contributing directly to food safety and overall guest satisfaction. The primary responsibility of a Stewardess is to clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, cutlery, kitchen utensils, and cooking equipment. This includes operating dishwashing machines efficiently, as well as manually washing delicate or oversized items when required. Stewardess must ensure that all items are properly dried, sorted, and stored in designated areas for easy access by kitchen staff. In addition to dishwashing duties, Stewardess are responsible for maintaining cleanliness in all kitchen and back-of-house areas. This includes sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning workstations, emptying garbage bins, and ensuring proper waste disposal in accordance with hygiene regulations. They must also regularly clean storage rooms, refrigerators, and service areas to prevent contamination and maintain a safe working environment.
