1. Daily Operations & Service Excellence Support the Restaurant Manager in managing daily FOH operations and ensuring smooth shift execution. Oversee opening and closing procedures, ensuring all checklists and operational requirements are completed accurately. Monitor floor operations, including table readiness, service efficiency, guest flow, and manpower deployment. Conduct daily team briefings to align priorities, communicate operational updates, reinforce company culture, and address shift concerns. Proactively identify operational challenges and escalate issues with recommended solutions. 2. Team Leadership & People Management Lead, coach, and motivate FOH team members to deliver consistent service excellence and positive guest experiences. Serve as the outlet’s people champion by supporting staff engagement, welfare, discipline, and performance matters. Assist in onboarding and training of new team members, including tracking competency development and Skill Passport progression. Identify team members with strong potential and recommend suitable development opportunities. Ensure compliance with company standards relating to attendance, punctuality, grooming, and workplace conduct. 3. Customer Experience & Service Recovery Uphold White Restaurant’s brand promise of delivering “Good food and service that brings joy.” Manage customer feedback, complaints, and service recovery matters professionally to ensure guest satisfaction. Monitor customer feedback channels, including online reviews, delivery platforms, and survey results, to identify improvement opportunities. Ensure FOH team consistently follows service standards, including guest engagement, order accuracy, upselling, and table management. 4. SOP Compliance & Quality Assurance Ensure all FOH operational procedures and service standards are consistently implemented across all shifts. Conduct regular checks on service quality, cleanliness, ambience, and grooming standards. Work closely with the Kitchen Team to strengthen FOH-BOH communication and ensure order accuracy. Identify SOP gaps and recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency and service consistency. 5. Sales Performance & Cost Awareness Monitor daily sales performance and communicate achievements, challenges, and improvement areas to the team. Support effective manpower planning and deployment to optimise labour productivity. Assist in monitoring outlet expenses, including food wastage, overtime costs, and cash handling accuracy. Participate in outlet performance reviews and contribute operational insights to improve profitability. 6. Training, Culture & Continuous Improvement Conduct regular on-the-job coaching and short training sessions to reinforce service standards, hygiene practices, and upselling techniques. Promote and embed White Restaurant’s Core Values: Safety, Integrity, Excellence, Teamwork, Growth, Empathy, and Humility. Support staff performance reviews, probation assessments, and career development discussions. Continuously develop personal leadership capabilities and complete required Skill Passport certifications. Overall Objective: To support the Restaurant Manager in achieving operational excellence, developing a high-performing FOH team, and delivering consistent guest experiences aligned with White Restaurant’s brand standards and values.

Job Requirements

Education Qualifications Minimum GCE ‘O’ Level or equivalent qualification. Diploma in Hospitality Management, F&B Management, or related disciplines will be an added advantage. Possess or obtain SFA Food Safety Course Level 1 certification upon confirmation. Professional Experience Minimum 2 years of F&B industry experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or team leadership capacity. Prior experience in a full-service restaurant environment (casual dining or above) is preferred. Proven ability to lead and manage frontline service teams effectively during peak operating periods. Experience in multi-outlet F&B operations or established restaurant groups will be an added advantage. Strong understanding of restaurant operations, service standards, team coordination, and customer experience management.
