CCTV / Security Systems Technician is responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and support of CCTV, Access Control, IoT, and Security Automation Systems The role involves working closely with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to implement security technology projects and ensure the smooth operation of security systems The technician will also support emerging technologies such as Video Analytics, Robotics Systems, and Visitor Management Systems.
Knowledge of IP CCTV Systems, Access Control Systems, and Remote Sensor Systems Ability to install, terminate, and troubleshoot Ethernet and coaxial cabling Basic electrical wiring knowledge and ability to read single-line diagrams Experience in installing and configuring Ethernet-based network equipment and systems Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications and PC hardware Ability to operate hand power tools and CCTV diagnostic tools Strong communication and interpersonal skills Good written and spoken English Team player with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, clients, and subcontractors Ability to work independently and solve technical issues efficiently Willingness to work ad-hoc hours when required for project implementation and support Ability to support duty phone operations and respond to technical issues outside normal working hours Interest in learning and adapting to new security technologies and automation solutions.
