We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the preventive and corrective maintenance of USVs. This role requires a strong background in networking, software, and digital services. You will be responsible for the maintenance of electronics IT security systems onboard surface vessels and shore facilities including firewalls, servers, intrusion detection systems, endpoint protection, VMware, SIEM, and PAM. You will work closely with other engineers, Service Delivery Managers and Project Managers to deliver quality maintenance services to our customers. Collaborate with vendors to ensure infrastructure health, and manage patching processes for systems, applications, and network devices. Proficiency in networking technologies, system hardening, and vulnerability assessment is preferred. You will have opportunities to be short-listed for participation in short-term overseas attachment and training courses. You will have opportunities to manage maintenance operations at team, workshop, or department level. Responsibilities:​ Work with the Operation Manager to upkeep the systems onboard the naval platforms at a highest state of availability and readiness. Perform maintenance tasks onboard vessels, workshop and shipyards Perform defect troubleshooting on systems Perform installation/removal work for equipment/systems Perform refurbishment of electronics unit/assemblies Period: 1 year contract Working Hours: Mon - Fri, 8am - 5.30pm Salary: Up to $5,000 Location: Changi Naval Base (shuttle bus service available at selected MRT stations )
