The Convenience Store Supervisor is responsible for supporting the daily operations of the store, ensuring smooth shift operations, maintaining customer service standards, and supervising team members on duty. The role includes overseeing cashiering operations, stock replenishment, merchandising, housekeeping, and ensuring compliance with operational and safety procedures. Key Responsibilities • Supervise and support the daily operations of the convenience store during assigned shifts • Lead and guide team members to ensure smooth store operations and service delivery • Ensure high standards of customer service and attend to customer enquiries or feedback promptly • Support manpower deployment and monitor attendance during shifts • Perform and oversee cashiering duties, cash handling, and basic sales reconciliation • Monitor stock availability and coordinate replenishment to maintain product availability • Ensure proper merchandising, pricing accuracy, and promotional display execution • Conduct stock rotation and monitor expiry dates to minimise wastage and maintain freshness standards • Maintain cleanliness, housekeeping, and overall presentation of the store • Ensure compliance with workplace safety, food hygiene, and company SOP requirements • Support the Store Manager in training and coaching new team members • Escalate operational issues, incidents, or customer concerns to the Store Manager where required • Carry out opening and closing procedures for the store • Perform any other ad-hoc operational duties assigned by management
