Work in a multi-disciplinary team to coach residents in Independent Living Skills such as: Maintain household chores, including laundry and area cleaning Manage their time within the residence. Live with others – sharing common spaces, meals, and chores, as well as consideration for one another’s needs. Enable the physical safety and well-being of residents 24/7 with a shift roster: Ensure safety and security of residents at all times. Respond to emergencies or unusual developments as required. Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for the residents. Co-develop house practices with the residents. Ensure residents are accountable for their household duties. Provide opportunities for social interactions and community. Plan and deliver programmes in the area of Independent Living Skills (e.g., preparing simple meals, navigating the community, etc.) using autism-friendly strategies. Document updates on training/coaching progress to different stakeholders.
Min GCE 'N' level with 1 - 2 years working experience. Have knowledge and understanding of autism and skills in daily living tasks. Good interpersonal and communication (verbal & non-verbal) skills. Sounds decision-making and problem-solving skills. Passion to work with individuals on the autism spectrum.
