Automation Equipment Technician

Job Detail

Repair and maintain automation equipment such as AMHS (Automated Material Handling System), ASRS (Automated Storage and Retrieval System), and AGV (Automated Guided Vehicles). Perform electrical and mechanical troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve issues in electro-mechanical equipment. Dismantle, adjust, repair, and assemble equipment based on layout plans, blueprints, and technical manuals. Execute preventive maintenance (PM) and calibration activities to maintain equipment within specifications. Implement equipment modifications as directed by engineering teams. Monitor tool performance and ensure compliance with shift KPIs for uptime and quality. Prepare detailed shift reports and conduct effective passdowns. Execute continuous Improvement Projects (CIP) to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency. Analyze equipment data to recommend advanced troubleshooting and predictive maintenance actions. Maintain a clean and safe work environment through proper housekeeping practices. Collaborate with operations and engineering stakeholders to resolve production line issues promptly Additional Responsibilities: Support automation integration projects and assist in deploying new technologies. Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action implementation for recurring issues. Ensure compliance with safety standards and EHS protocols during all maintenance activities.
