Fleet Engineering Specialist (Electrical/Mechanical)

Job Detail

The Fleet Engineering Specialist is responsible for carrying out repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting of machinery onboard PSA Marine harbour crafts to ensure operational reliability. They are also involved in the liasing with the Fleet Operations team on breakdown reports and harbour crafts status. Electrical Troubleshoot and carry out thorough rectification of deficiencies in machinery and control system; Perform wiring and connection of electrical cables; Install electrical and electronic accessories and components; Perform any other duties as assigned. Mechanical Perform lathe machining, basic gas welding, and cutting works to facilitate repair to machinery; Assist in lifting activities, forklift operation, confined space assessment; Perform proper disposal of used oils and chemicals; Perform any other duties as assigned.
