Job Detail

Operate and monitor advanced manufacturing equipment including CNC machines, furnaces, robotic automation systems, and production process lines. Perform precision manufacturing, machining, and assembly tasks on high-value engineered components with strict quality requirements. Execute controlled processes such as thermal treatment, bonding, etching, and non-destructive testing (e.g., ultrasonic testing, dye penetrant inspection). Interpret technical drawings (2D/3D), specifications, and process instructions to ensure accurate production execution. Conduct in-process and final inspections using precision measurement tools such as vernier calipers, micrometers, and gauges. Follow detailed standard operating procedures (SOPs), technique sheets, and quality documentation with high discipline. Identify, report, and escalate defects, deviations, and process abnormalities in a timely manner. Support continuous improvement initiatives including 5S, process optimisation, and waste reduction activities. Maintain high standards of housekeeping, safety, and operational discipline within a controlled manufacturing environment. Work in shift-based operations and ensure consistent adherence to safety, quality, and production targets.

Job Requirements

NITEC, Higher NITEC, Diploma, or equivalent in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Engineering-related discipline. Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes such as CNC machining, fabrication, assembly, or thermal processing. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and engineering specifications. Familiarity with precision measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers, gauges) and quality inspection methods. Exposure to automated production systems, robotics, or industrial machinery is advantageous. Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship in precision manufacturing. Ability to follow structured processes and SOPs consistently in a controlled production environment. Comfortable performing repetitive, high-precision tasks with discipline and accuracy. Willingness to work in shift-based operations, including overtime and extended standing periods. Comfortable working on weekends. Strong teamwork, reliability, and proactive attitude with willingness to learn multiple manufacturing processes.
