Hold overall accountability for execution of the Asia Pacific project portfolio in line with governance standards. Lead planning, execution, and performance management of multi-country power generation and engineered systems projects. Act as the primary escalation point for critical issues including schedule delays, cost overruns, and quality concerns. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with contractual and technical requirements. Drive commercial performance, including managing non-conformance costs and converting change orders into revenue. Allocate and optimize project resources, ensuring capability and capacity across project teams. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, supply chain, finance, commercial) to resolve execution challenges. Lead regular project and portfolio reviews, providing direction, coaching, and performance oversight. Prepare and present execution reports and portfolio performance updates to senior management. Drive continuous improvement initiatives, lessons learned, and alignment with global best practices.
Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. Minimum 10 years of experience in project execution within power generation, industrial, or engineered systems environments. At least 5 years of leadership experience managing project portfolios or large-scale delivery teams. Proven track record in delivering complex, multi-country projects on schedule, budget, and quality targets. Formal project management certification (e.g., PMP or equivalent). Strong stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills. Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively in high-pressure and complex environments. Commercially astute with strong understanding of risk management, cost control, and contract performance. Experience in multinational, matrix organizations and familiarity with structured governance frameworks preferred. Willingness to travel across Asia Pacific, with additional regional language capability considered an advantage.
