Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of production equipment and facility systems including CNC machines, robotic systems, vacuum furnaces, and process lines. Execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability, availability, and operational efficiency. Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and control system faults using tools such as multimeters, sensors, and diagnostic instruments. Troubleshoot and repair complex equipment issues involving PLCs, control panels, motors, drives, and automation systems. Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, mechanical drawings, and equipment manuals to support maintenance tasks. Replace, repair, and calibrate machine components, ensuring equipment operates within specified tolerances and performance standards. Support maintenance of specialized equipment such as blasting, peening, spraying, polishing systems, and inspection machines (e.g., CMM, X-ray systems). Maintain accurate maintenance records and update systems (e.g., Maximo) for all equipment activities and compliance requirements. Ensure adherence to safety regulations, predictive maintenance practices, and housekeeping standards across all maintenance work. Support continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma) to enhance equipment reliability, reduce downtime, and improve efficiency.
NITEC, Diploma, or equivalent in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or Mechanical Engineering. Strong experience in maintenance of industrial equipment such as CNC machines, automation systems, robotics, and production machinery. Solid understanding of electrical systems, control systems (PLC), motors, drives, and mechanical components. Hands-on experience in troubleshooting, fault diagnosis, and repair of complex industrial equipment. Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams, schematics, and mechanical drawings. Familiarity with preventive and predictive maintenance practices and asset management principles. Experience using maintenance management systems (e.g., Maximo) is preferred. Exposure to specialized equipment such as vacuum furnaces, chemical processing lines, and inspection systems is advantageous. Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma) and safety standards. Comfortable working on weekends. Willingness to work in a rotating shift environment with strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
