The following are the roles and responsibilities of the Technician, Clean at Hoya Electronics: Perform machine routine check and maintenance Perform gas cylinder and chemical stock checks and replacements Perform and assist the engineers in machine alarm troubleshooting Assist engineers in evaluation and experiments and new equipment process start-ups Any ad hoc duties assigned by supervisor / manager
NITEC / Diploma in Engineering, or any related field; fresh graduates may apply, OR 1 – 2 years of relevant working experience in the semiconductor industry, or prior experience in equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, or related roles, is preferred Basic computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Word Able to work independently with initiative and accountability in a fast-paced environment Strong team player with good communication and problem-solving skills Adaptable and detail-oriented Additional Information: Willing to work in a 12-hour rotating day / night shift (4 working days / 3 rest days / 3 working days / 4 rest days) Able to work in a cleanroom environment and perform overtime as and when necessary
