As a FLIGHT DECK Intern, you will work closely with our FLIGHT DECK specialists to support our site transformation journey, helping to create Flow Lines, shape how products move and processes improve in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will also support our engineers in conducting studies and drive improvement opportunities by activating FLIGHT DECK in the shopfloor. Role Overview: Assist in the planning and execution of Kaizen Events and Trainings Support the setup of Flowlines and Andons throught the development of Standard Work, Problem Solving and Daily Management Conduct shop floor observations and collect key data to identify improvement opportunities Track and analyze performance metrics to drive measureable performance
Currently pursuing a degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Aerospace, or Materials Engineering Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel & PowerPoint) Ideal Candidate: Strong communicator who works well independently and engages confidently on the shop floor. Proactive, willing to learn, and enthusiastic about applying Lean principles to drive measurable improvements
