Maintenance Engineer

Job Detail

Plan, coordinate, and supervise preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance activities to ensure the smooth operation of equipment and facilities. Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime. Monitor equipment performance, investigate failures, and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and automation-related issues. Prepare quotations, maintenance proposals, cost estimates, and budgets for maintenance projects and equipment replacement. Manage procurement activities, including sourcing, vendor coordination, and purchasing spare parts, tools, and maintenance materials. Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations, MOM requirements, and client-specific HSE standards. Supervise the maintenance and troubleshooting of automation systems, PLC-controlled equipment, ACHS and PCHS systems, Mobile Transfer Vehicles (MTV), ETVs, Transfer Vehicles (TV), weighing systems, motors, and other mechanical and electrical equipment. Prepare maintenance reports, service records, work schedules, and technical documentation. Attend client meetings and provide regular updates on maintenance performance, equipment status, and improvement initiatives. Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by management from time to time.
