To lead a team of Production Planners to achieve the key performance Parts maintenance checking before project kick in Manage 500-1000 items per projects Developing production schedules based on demand forecasts to meet customer requirements Coordinating with suppliers to ensure that adequate materials are available, and developing relationships with new suppliers as needed Communicating with other departments within the organization regarding production schedules and deadlines Monitoring inventory levels and adjusting production accordingly to avoid overproduction Interpreting and implementing company policies regarding production scheduling to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations Reviewing production schedules and labor forecasts to determine whether additional staff will be required during certain times of the year Creating and maintaining records of materials used during production to ensure efficient use of resources and to identify waste or loss Coordinating the purchase of raw materials for products from suppliers based on inventory levels, price fluctuations, and other factors Coordinating with shipping companies to arrange for delivery of finished products to customers
