You will enjoy the internship if: Getting users to use your stuff is the main thing that matters to you. You are comfortable working on-site and in the field, instead of a normal desk in office. You will need to go out to sea frequently and even in adverse weather to test your software. You want to learn more about how startups grow. Have shown demonstrated ability to work independently without a spoon-fed approach, as well as collaboratively with team members in other sub-teams. Have a positive learning mindset with ability to quickly absorb knowledge and apply it. What you will learn by doing: Develop middleware drivers to link hardware to the robotics software stack. Integration of robotics stack with the software architecture. Test and debug of robotics algorithms in software in the loop simulation. Perform data association on detected objects for localisation with tracking. Development of autonomous mission planning software that is mission critical and safe for operations.
