Design and develop robust firmware for STM32-based satellite subsystems (Power, ADCS, and Communications). Architect low-level drivers and application logic using STM32CubeIDE or Keil MDK. Rapid Prototyping: Utilize ESP32 ecosystems for high-speed hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing and ground support equipment. AI Integration: Use AI-assisted coding and debugging tools to accelerate the development lifecycle, from initial boilerplate to complex algorithm optimization. Protocol Implementation: Implement and debug space-standard communication protocols (I2C, SPI, UART, CAN, and SpaceWire). Validation: Perform unit testing and integration in simulated and physical environments to ensure "zero-fail" performance during launch and orbit. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work alongside electronics and systems engineers to define hardware requirements and PCB layouts in KiCad.
Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Aerospace Engineering. Deep proficiency in C/C++ for embedded systems. Hands-on experience with STM32 microcontrollers and the ARM Cortex-M ecosystem. Familiarity with RTOS (FreeRTOS or similar) and bare-metal programming. Proven ability to use AI tools (LLMs, Copilots, or custom agents) to dramatically increase output and debugging efficiency. Experience with hardware debugging tools (Logic analyzers, Oscilloscopes, J-Link/ST-Link). Full project cycle experience (Concept, Firmware Architecture, Debugging, real-world deployment).
