"Perform cleaning, high-level disinfection, and reprocessing of endoscopes using Automated Endoscope Reprocessors (AER) Conduct daily cleaning of worktables, AER machines, flushing pumps, and leak testers Prepare scopes according to procedure schedules Inspect, perform leak tests, and manually clean used endoscopes. Load scopes into AER and initiate reprocessing cycles. Monitor and evaluate AER test indicators. Dry and properly store scopes in designated cabinets. Maintain inventory of endoscopes and disinfectants. Track and monitor microbiological surveillance of scopes. Report faulty equipment or scopes to the supervising nurse. Perform weekly cleaning of sterile storage areas and scope cabinets. Carry out basic maintenance of AER machines. Prepare procedure rooms for endoscopy procedures. Assist in simple diagnostic endoscopy procedures. Monitor patients before and after procedures under supervision"
