This role involves leading and supervising a team of 10–15 warehouse staff during the evening shift, including assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and ensuring smooth daily operations. It covers both inbound activities such as receiving, sorting, and storing goods, as well as outbound processes including picking, packing, and dispatching, to ensure accurate, efficient, and timely order fulfilment. The candidate will use SAP systems for inventory updates and order processing, respond to customer enquiries, and provide shipment updates while maintaining accurate system records. In addition, the role requires manpower planning, performance monitoring against KPI targets, and preparation of daily shift reports for the Operations Manager. The candidate must also ensure compliance with safety and 5S standards, while promptly reporting any incidents, discrepancies, or operational issues.
The ideal candidate should possess a minimum GCE ‘N’/‘O’ Levels, NITEC, Diploma, or equivalent qualification, with at least 2 to 3 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or supply chain operations, preferably in a supervisory role. They should have experience leading and coordinating a team of warehouse staff, with strong knowledge of inbound and outbound processes such as receiving, picking, packing, inventory control, and dispatch. Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems, or SAP is required, along with a good understanding of inventory management and stock accuracy practices. The candidate should demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, and be able to plan manpower deployment and manage daily operational priorities effectively. Customer service orientation is important, with experience handling enquiries and operational issues. In addition, the candidate should be familiar with workplace safety regulations, warehouse safety practices, and 5S standards. The role requires the ability to work rotating shifts and be physically fit to operate in a warehouse environment.
