Labeling Assistant / Production Operator

Job Detail

This role involves setting up, adjusting, and operating labeling and packaging machinery according to production schedules. It includes affixing accurate identification labels such as barcodes, batch numbers, and expiration dates to finished goods while ensuring all information matches batch documentation. The candidate is responsible for inspecting products and packaging materials for defects, removing any non-conforming items from the production line, and replenishing packaging supplies such as labels, ink, glue, and cartons as needed. The role also involves assisting with loading materials onto the production line, counting and verifying processed items, and compiling reports in accordance with company guidelines and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP). In addition, the candidate will perform basic preventive maintenance on machinery, such as lubrication and minor checks, and report any malfunctions to supervisors. Maintaining a clean, organized workspace in compliance with 5S standards and workplace safety requirements is also an essential part of the role.
