Lead and manage the Incoming Quality Assurance (IQA) team to meet company objectives, including inspections, buy-offs, process control, and 5S. Plan resources for peak material inflow and provide guidance on non-conforming materials and processes. Monitor material aging, inspection queues, and equipment maintenance, calibration, GR&R, and ESD compliance. Oversee FAI activities, ICP/RI records, and CMM/Smartscope programming. Develop and maintain FMEA, procedures, work instructions, and validation documentation for IQA/SQE processes and equipment. Coordinate with corporate divisions on qualifications, validations, and documentation. Ensure supplier materials comply with specifications through inspections and counterfeit prevention measures. Support and participate in audits (internal, customer, third-party). Coach and train team members, conduct training needs assessments, and OJT. Maintain workforce discipline, morale, and cross-functional communication. Support SCAR/FAR resolution, NCMR review, MRB disposition, and compliance with QA standards. Drive continuous improvement initiatives (CAPA, Change Control, Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen). Manage training records, system access, reporting (LAR, KPIs), and data analysis for process improvement. Perform other duties as assigned.
NITEC / Diploma / Degree in Electronics, Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent. Minimum 2 years in manufacturing, preferably as Quality Engineering Assistant/Engineer, especially in EMS. Knowledge of manufacturing processes, PCBA, ESD control, and applying IPC-A-600, IPC-A-610, IPC-A-620 standards. Familiarity with international industrial standards (ISO 9001, ISO 13485, FDA CFR Part 820/11, JPAL MHLW 169, MDSAP, ANSI Z1.4) preferred. Skilled in quality tools, problem-solving, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, FMEA/DOE (training an advantage). Experience with Agile PQM, PLM, Receiving Maestro/Inspection, Oracle preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and Google Data Studio. Experience operating/programming CMM, Smartscope, and Image Dimensional Measurement machines. Experience managing IQA, validation, calibration, and maintenance of quality equipment preferred. Supervisory skills preferred.
