Job Detail

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of railway signalling systems and platform screen doors to improve its reliability Assists in the preparation of maintenance activities and is technically inclined and adept in handling electronics and computer-based systems and equipment for maintenance Supervises the works of contractors and external stakeholders to ensure adherence to operating requirements, quality standards and safety standards Provide 1st line fault response and recovery Perform timely trackside CM activities including fault troubleshooting, rectification and testing Plan and carry out trackside PM work according to schedule Perform trackside equipment overhaul activities and to ensure that the programs adhere to the schedule Supervising a team and coaching of new staff for STO Assist in managing and controlling of maintenance spares Perform tasks in compliance with relevant procedures and instructions contained in Quality Procedures, Work Specifications, Work Instructions, Signal Standing Instructions and any relevant change instructions disseminated Operate safely and efficiently all Signal Measuring, Test Equipment, Instruments and Tools Comply with and exercise safety at all times in accordance to all Safety Procedures Responsible for the safety of self, peers at workplace; off and on trackside throughout working period Carry-out the role of PIC and PM duties and responsibilities Complete the necessary reports for the task at hand Ensure good housekeeping workplace
