Senior Technician to have minimum 2-5 more years of experience than technicians. Perform lift repair works in accordance with company procedures, and within designated timeframes. Thoroughly inspect lifts before and after repairs to ensure all issues are resolved and the lift is safe and fully operational. Verify that all safety devices and protection features are in working condition before returning the lift to service. Report any unrepairable issues or parts requiring additional attention to supervisors promptly. Recommend follow-up repairs or component replacements as necessary to maintain lift performance and safety. Document and submit accurate repair records. including parts used, repair actions taken, and lift status updates. Ensure proper communication by informing relevant staff when the lift status is ‘Out Of Service (OMS)' and once it is switched back on Provide feedback to service mechanics any recurring problems. unusual findings, or potential improvements during the repair process. Adhere strictly to safety protocols and participate in toolbox talks and ongoing safety training. Undertake any other ad-hoc duties or assignments as directed by the reporting Officer / management.
NITEC equivalent qualification. Relevant certification or diploma in lift engineering or a related field is preferred. Proven experience as a Lift Technician, with a strong understanding of lift systems and their components. in-depth knowledge of lift installation, maintenance, and repair techniques. Familiarity with lift control systems, electrical wiring, and hydraulic systems. Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and manuals. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship. Good physical stamina and the ability to work at heights Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A valid driver's license (motorbike) and be able to carry out call back operation.
