JOB DESCRIPTION Department: IE (Industrial Engineering) Department Reports to: Senior Engineer Functional Relationships with: Coordinate with manufacturing and IE Costing members for Kaizen activities planning and organizing and management. Position Profile: Based in: Yishun Successful candidate will: Collaborate and participate in cost analysis, time study or productivity tracking to devise systems integrate Man, Machine, Material, and optimize operations and reduce waste. Key Duties & Responsibilities • Conduct detailed process analysis on workflow, layout, resources and productivity to identify inefficiencies. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data, insights and ideas for improvement and participate in cost reduction management • Study or review the proposals and utilizing IT tools to automate the process and reduce time spend and build simulation models for system optimization • Support in facilitation or organizing factory small group activities and layout projects
Ability / Competency Required • Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or any other relevant field. • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply. • Strong interpersonal skills, analytical, with a flair for numbers. • Good communication and presentation skills. • Able to work well as a team player while being independent and pro-active. • Positive attitude in challenging work environment. • Ability to perform multi-tasking
