Job Description: Department: Machine Engineering & Facility Reports to: Manager Functional Relationships with: Production , Maintenance , Quality & Engineering Team Position Profile: Based in: Singapore Job Site: Yishun The successful candidate will work as part of Machine Engineering to explore, evaluate & carry out machinery rationalization activities to improve manufacturing performance. Key Duties & Responsibilities: • Responsible for improving Production processes through Automation Machines & Operation Technology. • Prepare machine/technology roadmap to fulfil Manufacturing Division’s goal. • Proposal based on Rationalization fundamentals & Design of equipment with Mechanical /Electrical control systems. • Enhance Project Management with Scheduling, Budget Control, Coordination with Vendor & Reporting. • Preferably a trained engineer and is able to address technical queries that arise during the course of his duties. • Ensure activity compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards, specifications and maintain process ISO system.
Ability/Competency Required: • Degree in Manufacturing Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent. • At least 2 years related working experience is preferred. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply. • Good communication and presentation skills. • Able to work well as a team player while being independent and pro-active. • Positive attitude in challenging work environment. • A self starter who enjoys interacting with others. • Ability to work well in a team. • Problem solver. • Ability to perform multi-tasking.
