About The Role As a Facilities Management team Assistant Leasing Manager for Knight Frank Property & Facilities Management, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving the success of our retail properties. You'll be the key person in ensuring that our shopping malls thrive by managing tenant relationships, lease negotiations, and marketing strategies. If you're passionate about retail, have a knack for maintaining high occupancy rates, and enjoy building strong relationships with tenants and agents, this role will offer you a dynamic and rewarding career in the real estate industry. What You Will Be Doing Lease Management: Oversee leasing activities, including the preparation of Letters of Offer and Tenancy Agreements, and collaborate with solicitors on lease documentation. Budgeting & Reporting: Prepare annual budget forecasts and generate monthly management reports to track performance and support strategic decision-making. Market Research & Trade Mix Review: Stay updated on retail trends and concepts, constantly reviewing the tenant mix to maintain a high occupancy rate. Tenant Relations: Build and maintain positive relationships with tenants, ensuring timely resolution of tenancy-related matters, including fit-out, compliance, and operational handovers. Financial Management: Oversee Gross Turnover (GTO) and arrears management, and work closely with the Finance team on billing, deposit refunds, and property tax issues. Authority Liaison: Manage submissions for applications, such as changes in use, and liaise with relevant authorities on lease-related matters.
We’re Looking For Someone Who’s CEA Qualified: Meets the requirements to be registered as a salesperson with the Council for Estate Agencies (CEA). Holder a Diploma in Real Estate or a related discipline with at least 5 years of relevant experience in retail leasing or higher qualification. Skilled in Negotiation & Marketing: Demonstrates proficiency in lease negotiations and marketing strategies for retail properties. Detail-Oriented & Analytical: Possesses strong financial analytical skills and is meticulous in handling documentation. A Strong Communicator: Has excellent presentation and written communication skills to effectively engage with stakeholders.
