The role leads and supervises rail maintenance activities to ensure the permanent way and 3rd rail systems meet operational standards. Key duties include overseeing rail replacement operations, maintenance of buffer stops and insulated rail joints, and cleaning of tracks and tunnels. The position monitors rail‑related tests and repairs, conducts inspections and data analysis, and leads emergency response for track and 3rd rail incidents. Responsibilities also include shunting and driving engineering trains, supporting failure management and emergency procedures, ensuring ISO 14000 compliance, managing logistics and spare parts procurement, coordinating track access requests, and performing other duties assigned by supervisors.
