Job Detail

Monitor database health, availability, performance, and capacity using enterprise monitoring tools. Investigate and resolve database alerts, incidents, and performance bottlenecks. Participate in 24x7 on-call support and incident response activities. Install, configure, and upgrade Oracle database software and tools. Create and maintain database storage structures (table spaces, objects, indexes). Review, plan, and execute database changes in accordance with IT change management procedures. Support application deployments, database releases, and schema migrations. Assess risks and develop rollback plans for production changes. Conduct periodic failover, switchover, backup, and disaster recovery tests Identify, test, and implement Oracle patches, updates, and service packs. Support database audit, security reviews, and compliance requirements. Maintain database administration documentation, SOPs, and operational procedures. Ensure adherence to company security and data retention policies. Implement backup and recovery strategies to protect data from loss. Develop and test disaster recovery plans.
