Budget: Works out project budget, investment planning and product costing, coordinates with the supervisor and monitors project expenses status. Production: Ensure project are promptly executed and delivered to customer according to customer's requirements and relevant industrial standard. Good project management skill in prioritize projects in-charged and lead in problem solving when encounter any technical disruption. Engaged external supplier/vendor for defect improvement. Act as NPI leader during new product/process handover to operation team. Production and process development: Lead in development of new concept in production/process improvement to enhance process stability, production yield and manpower efficiency. Engaged suitable external supplier/vendor when necessary for project in-charged. Systematically documented all optimizes processes parameter, flow chart, quality control plan/test, process work instruction based on the knowledge gained. Conduct root cause analysis on failure product and plan necessary DOE to identify the failure mode and initiate corrective/preventive action. May setup proper monitoring test with reference to industrial standard to monitor product quality. Engaged SDE or external supplier/vendor for improvement plan when necessary. Development: Participates in new product development and setup product control specification according to SCHOTT standard, relevant industrial standard and customer specific requirement. Conduct DFM study on new product/process Quality: Ensures compliance with the defined QS standards and informs the employees concerned about relevant complaints. Initiates corrective measures and monitors their execution. Processes customer complaints that project under he/her care. Occupational safety, environmental protection: Monitors compliance with legal and company regulations on occupational safety, accident prevention and environmental protection. Checks the processes with regard to safety and environmental protection issues and initiates the necessary corrections or process improvements. Repair / Maintenance: Creates the necessary work instructions and maintenance plans that ensure regular maintenance of the systems. Takes action in the event of malfunctions and product defects. Leadership: Leading project and capable to provide clear direction, encouragement and motivation to team members from cross departments to work together and bring success to project being assigned. Ad-hoc task: As and when, might be en-tasked to act as ISO 9001 / ISO 16949 Internal Auditor, EHS Committee member, others. Performs other duties as assigned.
