1. AI Solution Development Design, develop, and optimise AI-powered applications using open-source and proprietary AI technologies. Translate business and functional requirements into practical AI engineering solutions. Develop LLM-based applications, AI workflows, intelligent automation, and AI-enabled backend services. 2. LLM, RAG & Generative AI Model evaluation and optimisation Integrate LLMs and AI services through APIs and supporting services. Improve AI response quality, accuracy, relevance, latency, and cost. 3. Backend, APIs & System Integration Develop scalable backend services supporting AI applications, primarily using Python and/or Node.js. Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and AI service interfaces. Integrate AI capabilities with existing enterprise applications, databases, data platforms, and third-party services. 4. AI Engineering & Product ionisation Take ownership of AI components from development through testing, deployment, and production support. Implement software engineering best practices including: • Version control • CI/CD o Automated testing • Code quality and review • Logging and monitoring o Error handling • Performance optimisation Develop testing and evaluation approaches for AI applications, including accuracy, relevance, reliability, and performance. Monitor AI solutions in production and continuously improve their performance. 5. Cloud & Deployment Build and deploy AI applications on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. Work with cloud-based compute, storage, databases, AI/ML services, and application infrastructure. Support containerised and scalable deployment of AI services where appropriate. 6. Technical Design & Collaboration Participate in solution design and technical discussions with the AI Solutions Architect. Translate high-level solution architecture into detailed technical designs and implementation approaches. More details given at interview
