NITEC / Higher NITEC / Diploma in Engineering, Manufacturing, Electronics, Precision Engineering, or related field. Technical skills: Experience laser diode handling and assembly. Skilled in die attach and component placement. Proficient in epoxy dispensing and curing processes. Wire bonding awareness and knowledge in active alignment techniques. Basic understanding of laser safety requirements. Equipment knowledge: Assembly microscope. Precision alignment stages. UV curing equipment. Laser power meter. Optical inspection tools. Competent in recording data in spreadsheet or in process control system. Comfortable with test equipment, keen to learn new equipment functionality. Demonstrates awareness of different ways of work; offers workable solutions and makes suggestions for improvements within their own area of work. Effectively work within multi-disciplinary teams to a common goal.
