Operations Supervisor - West

Job Detail

Plan, manage, and track import/export trucking shipments using the designated software system. Receive and process order and shipment bookings from relevant sites. Assign shipments and tasks to the appropriate truckers based on availability and zones. Communicate effectively with drivers, cargo handlers, and other logistics personnel to ensure timely and accurate delivery. Ensure all customer requirements are clearly communicated to truckers to ensure full compliance and satisfaction. Provide prompt and proactive support to customers, keeping them informed on the status of their shipments. Oversee and coordinate warehouse operations to ensure the efficient movement of goods. Foster a positive working environment by supporting staff welfare and maintaining strong professional relationships. Delegate tasks effectively, leveraging staff strengths to optimize team performance. Develop and maintain excellent relationships with customers to ensure smooth business transactions and high levels of customer satisfaction. Assist with any additional tasks or duties as assigned by the Operations Manager or Head of Department (HOD).
