Job Summary: Independently develop and responsible for detail design of architectural outfitting & safety to comply with Class and Technical specification requirements within assigned schedule. Key Responsibilities: Responsible for delivering the respective project design drawing and document according to project plan schedule. Shall take on project lead role Prepares compartment layouts, managing space, and coordinating with other engineering specialties. Liaise with Owner and Classification Society for the specific design requirement compliance, review, and approval. Prepares architectural outfitting, lifesaving equipment sourcing technical specifications Conduct a technical evaluation of the offer made by the seller. Liaise with suppliers and contractors for interpretation of the drawings and specifications. Develop and update weight report (weight and center of gravity). Communicate with the person in charge of production on trouble shooting and visiting on-site if needed. Hull outfitting coverage is an advantage
