Project Engineer

Job Detail

Assist the project manager with day-to-day on-site monitoring, project implementation, and scheduling. Schedule, coordinate, implement, and manage projects—either in part or wholly—to ensure timely work progress and delivery of goods or services, while maintaining budgeted quality and cost. Ensure that work is carried out according to approved plans, regulations, and contract specifications. Be accountable for the safety and quality of the project. Conduct project progress meetings and review schedules. Manage the training of the project team. Liaise with consultants and subcontractors. Prepare method statements, proposals, test plans, acceptance plans, and timeline schedules in collaboration with the project manager, as required. Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports. Ability to read AutoCAD and schematic drawings is preferable. Perform ad hoc duties as assigned by supervisors.
