Provide safe, respectful and reliable non-clinical accompaniment for clients attending medical appointments and dialysis sessions. Confirm assignment details, meet and identify the client, support safe movement and wheelchair navigation after training, accompany clients through hospitals, clinics and dialysis centres, assist with registration, lifts and waiting areas within scope, complete proper handover, report incidents, near misses, delays and relevant changes in the client's condition, and maintain required records. Protect client dignity, privacy and safety throughout the assignment and do not perform clinical tasks outside authorised scope.
No specific academic qualification required. Entry-level candidates may be considered. Relevant caregiving, healthcare, medical escort, dialysis, transport or customer-service experience is an advantage but not mandatory. Candidate must be safety-conscious and responsible, have good communication and interpersonal skills, complete Bergenia's medical and dialysis escort readiness training and practical assessment, and be willing to work according to operational schedules and client assignment needs.
