Role Overview: As the Training Manager for our Quick Service Restaurant (QSR), you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive training programs to ensure that all team members are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and resources to deliver exceptional service and uphold brand standards. Your role will involve designing training materials, facilitating training sessions, and assessing training effectiveness to support the growth and success of our restaurant. Key Responsibilities: 1.Training Program Development: Collaborate with management to assess training needs and develop training strategies aligned with business objectives and performance goals. Design and create training materials, including manuals, presentations, videos, and e-learning modules, to support various learning modalities. Develop and update training curricula to incorporate new products, procedures, and industry best practices. 2.Training Delivery and Facilitation: Conduct engaging and interactive training sessions for new hires, existing team members, and managers on topics such as customer service, food safety, product knowledge, and operational procedures. Utilize a variety of training methods and techniques, including classroom instruction, on-the-job training, role-playing, and simulations, to maximize learning effectiveness. Provide coaching and feedback to trainees to reinforce learning objectives and address performance gaps. 3.Onboarding and Orientation: Coordinate and facilitate new employee orientation programs to introduce team members to the company culture, policies, and expectations. Ensure that new hires receive thorough training on job responsibilities, equipment operation, safety protocols, and customer service standards. Monitor the progress of new hires during the onboarding process and provide support as needed to promote successful integration into the team. 4.Performance Evaluation and Assessment: Develop and administer assessments, quizzes, and practical evaluations to measure trainee comprehension and skill proficiency. Analyze training data and performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and identify areas for improvement. Partner with management to conduct performance reviews and identify opportunities for additional training or development. 5.Continuous Improvement and Innovation: Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in training and development. Identify opportunities to enhance training content, methods, and delivery mechanisms to keep pace with evolving business needs and learner preferences. Act as a champion for continuous learning and professional development within the organization.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Education, Training and Development, Hospitality Management, or related field preferred. Proven experience in training and development, preferably in the QSR or hospitality industry. Strong presentation and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage and motivate diverse audiences. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish credibility with trainees and stakeholders. Knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and training evaluation techniques. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and learning management systems (LMS) preferred. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility to travel to different locations for training sessions or meetings, as needed.
