Plan, supervise and implement the programme for the class in accordance with the centre’s policies and framework. Complete progress reports on children for each semester and prepares a developmental portfolio for each child. Set up and create a stimulating and engaging pleasant learning environment that promotes self-directed learning. Responsible for all aspects of classroom management and carrying out routine care duties to ensure the safety and hygiene of the children. Work closely with the other teaching staff in the class in carrying out the duties. Build and maintain a close partnership with parents.
Local Polytechnic Diploma and obtained a GCE O level credit in English (EL1) or a minimum band 5.5 in IELTS (Academics); OR Obtained a Degree with English as the medium of instruction from a state-recognised university. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. High tolerance level towards children is an advantage. Able to work well independently as well as within a team.
