Be a change agent and inspire a Quality Culture for improvement Plan for product quality verification at appropriate process stages, ensuring Critical-to-Quality (CtQ) characteristics are achieved Ensure integrity of measurement systems (inc. GR&R) for product verification Facilitate Management of Change (MOC) for product full/partial qualification Train quality control inspectors on proper use of measuring and testing equipment and visual inspection for product verification As a quality focal point, you will review Cell operators/inspectors On-Job-Training (OJT) competency Implement product non-conformances through Perfection Review (PR), NCR and SAP Q-Note Ensure internal Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and effective Corrective and Preventive actions are carried out effectively Conduct assigned process and product audits Facilitate Quality Improvement Projects (QIP) to meet quarterly savings target Implement initiatives to increase product/process yield and reduce Cost of Poor Quality (CoPQ) – Scrap, rework, warranty costs Support cell in implementation and adherence of Quality Management Systems requirements Raise quality awareness, conduct quality briefs, monitor and exercise StopWork for quality issues Review and approve incoming and final repair reports, as needed
Engineering Degree preferably in Mechanical, Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering from a local or internationally recognised university. Those with a Diploma in Mechanical or equivalent Engineering coupled with relevant working experience within manufacturing, maintenance, repair or overhaul (MRO) or aerospace will be considered. At least 3 years operational, quality and engineering experience in related industry preferred. Strong communications, interpersonal and influencing skills, a change agent Industrial product / process experience will be an added advantage Understanding of ISO9001:2015 Quality Management Systems Good report writing skills and experience in facilitating audits Meticulous in scrutinising data making dispositions Good understanding of measurement systems and metrology Ability to scrutinise data and experience in performing / being part of Root Cause Analysis
