• Oversee students in classroom settings as well as non-classroom settings like outdoor play, learning journey and snack time • Assist class teachers in routines such as changing, snack time • Work in small groups or one-on-one with students in the classroom to reinforce instructional material. • Assist class teacher in organizing the learning environment, preparing materials and maintaining resources. • Encouraging student participation, promoting positive behavior, and reinforcing classroom rules and expectations • Perform recordkeeping duties associated with the classroom including attendance • Facilitate students in proper classroom procedures and behavior. • Collaborate with teachers on a regular basis regarding student progress.
