• Ensure that alcoholic drinks are served in accordance with the state and local laws, ordinance, rules and regulations. • Know how to use bar equipment efficiently and safely. • Help control wastage and costs by ensuring that daily bar inventory is kept. • Maintain bar sanitation. • Prepare drinks promptly. • Accommodate taste preferences of individual guests. • Keep control of the cash (if any), alcohol storerooms and other limited access areas. • Demonstrate suggestive selling and up-selling. • Keep proper inventory and requisition of bar stock. • Make entries in the Bar Logbook. • Always maintain professional confidentiality. • Make sure that all products served are accounted for on the final bill before presenting it. • Clear tables throughout the guest’s experience in accordance with the hotel’s standard operating procedure. • Adjust services to suit guests’ requests and personalizes any interaction with them. • Support review simulation processes and update evaluation criteria for a smooth operation.
