We are searching for a self-driven and highly motivated Senior Middleware Developer! You will be part of the Middleware development team and will provide development and support to Scoot's middleware. You will work closely with e-commerce to deliver, enhance and maintain API services for applications. Responsibilities '- Work within a scrum team with product owners, developers, QA and BAs to maintain, enhance and support Scoot’s middleware - Involved in the whole process of the application life cycle: idealization, design, development, test, release, and support. - Develop or enhance API endpoints to satisfy the current and future needs of the business - Writing high-quality code to program complete applications on schedule - Performing unit and integration testing before launch. - Maintaining and upgrading existing systems - Stay up-to-date with new technology trends - Design IT solutions according to IT strategy
- Degree in Computer Sciences / Software Engineering / Information Technology or equivalent - At least 6-8 years of relevant experience - Work with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical requirements. - Technical platforms expertise '- Analytical, problem-solving, critical thinking - Good fundamentals in application/software development (preferably C#) - A solid understanding of OO design and Computer Science fundamentals - Experience with AWS Services (EC2, VPC, EBS, ELB, KMS, Config, SNS, SQS, Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, Bean Stalk, etc) - Working experience with APIGEE API gateway - Hands on experience with SQL database - Working experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies - Team oriented, adaptable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment - Good verbal and written communication
