We are looking for a UI/UX Designer to assist our Product Design Team in turning adaptive and creative solutions to into intuitive, effective designs. You will be part of Scoot’s UX/UI Design Team and will work closely with product designers on products across the organization. Responsibilities • Designing intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces for web and mobile applications • Create wireframes and prototypes: Help create wireframes and prototypes for usability testing • Collaborate with team members: Work closely with other members of the product design team, including designers, researchers, and developers • Assist in user research: Assist in conducting user research and gathering user feedback to inform design decisions • Assisting UX Designers in maintaining Scoot’s design systems & style guides • Provide design support: Provide support to the UX designer in creating visual design stages from wireframes to be ready for engineering • Assisting UX designers in design research to be up-to-date on new ideas, concepts and design solutions to the team • Testing: Constantly testing websites and mobile applications to identify design and user experience issues
• Diploma or Degree in Digital Design, or related field • You have one or more years of UX/UI design experience. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience designing complex solutions for complete digital environments • You have relevant knowledge/experience with web responsive and mobile application design, iOS & Android • You are proficient in Figma • You are flexible to take direction, feedback and observations with a positive attitude • You have a good understanding of development principles and execution • You are a good team player • You desire to learn and grow as a designer • A strong portfolio showcasing your best design work is a plus • Technical knowledge to suggest web-based technologies to be applied to your design is a plus • Knowledge in Miro, Adobe Suite (Photoshop and Illustrator), creating animations and HTML5/CSS3, is a plus
