We are searching for a resourceful, energetic and proactive Senior Officer/Specialist Communications who will support the Communications team to successfully profile Scoot as the world's leading low-cost carrier. You will work closely with other Communications team members, and colleagues from the broader Marketing department that Communications is a part of, to organise and execute Scoot's media and consumer engagement events and activations. You will also help to manage PR efforts in certain key markets. Responsibilities Media Monitoring - Monitor daily news on Scoot using various monitoring tools - Compile reports on Scoot's PR coverage and activities monthly Sponsorship Management - Daily check on redemption of prizes, partnership and media engagements - Liaise with campaign winners and other stakeholders to execute and process bookings for sponsorships/partnerships across the Scoot network - Track sponsorship, partnership and media engagement Updating of Website Advisories - Update website advisories including Covid19 travel-related matters (health and medical requirements/border requirements), transit operations, flight schedules, travel lanes, etc, in a timely manner Event Logistics Management - Manage end-to-end logistics for all on-ground media/marketing events, including coordinating with stakeholders from all levels such as regulatory bodies (safety clearances) and external vendors (gifts, decorations, technical equipment, media collaterals, etc) – effectively full-fledged events management - Coordinate inflight filming productions, from obtaining security clearances and risk assessments, to liaising with various internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth filming processes Departmental Administrative Matters - Renewals of subscriptions as well as contract- and invoice-related matters In-market PR - Provide PR support for Greater China region

Job Requirements

Recognised diploma or degree in public relations, communications or relevant field Preferably 1-2 years of PR/Communications experience Proficient command of English and, ideally, Mandarin so as to support Greater China region Excellent communication (oral and written) and presentation skills; experience in copywriting and editing a plus Team-player with strong stakeholder management and project management skills Must be proactive, resourceful, and able to plan and act even in the absence of complete information
