Design Engineer (Packaging)

Job Detail

• Innovate various packaging concepts, ensuring alignment with finished products and materials, and verifying compatibility with customer items. • Design packaging components and assemblies, collaborating with product designers to ensure compliance with internal and external standards. • Offer on-site technicalsupport during product manufacturing, overseeing the implementation of product packaging processes. • Document engineering protocols, develop manufacturing specifications, and ensure adherence to industry standards and regulations. • Create and document all test requirementsfor packaging qualification according to specified packaging standards. • Define bill of materials (BOM) as per product or customer specifications. • Evaluate emerging technologies to enhance efficiency, devising designs for a smooth transition into the design process. • Collaborate with national and international vendorsto reduce material costs, planning transportation and product display activities. • Provide project leadership, ensuring effective communication and collaboration with stakeholders in Corrugated, Paper Pulp, PE Bag, Kitting, etc. • Align project schedules to facilitate timely and efficient development. • Establish effective coordination with clients and suppliers for streamlined operations and improved collaboration. • Regularly update stakeholders on the project's neutralstatus and communicate any significant developments. • Provide comprehensive NPI (New Product Introduction) support, encompassing meticulous planning and seamless execution of all related activities.
