Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve organizational goals. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify opportunities and threats. Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team to ensure high performance and professional development. Establish sales targets and ensure the team meets or exceeds these targets. Oversee the generation and follow-up of business leads locally and regionally. Contribute to client acquisition and retention by analyzing customer behavior, feedback, and market trends. Coordinate and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and key clients to ensure service excellence. Handle escalated customer complaints and resolve issues promptly. Prepare and review sales proposals, quotations, and RFQs to ensure they meet customer requirements and company standards. Maintain and develop new business accounts to drive growth. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to sales staff. Collaborate with operations and other departments to ensure smooth implementation of sales strategies. Manage ad-hoc projects and tasks as assigned by senior management.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field. Relevant certifications in sales or freight forwarding are advantageous. At least 5 years of experience in a similar position within the freight forwarding industry, with a proven track record in sales. Strong understanding of the freight forwarding and logistics sector. Demonstrated ability to develop and implement successful sales strategies.
