The Restroom Cleaner is responsible for ensuring that all restroom facilities are maintained in a clean, sanitary, and orderly condition. This role is essential for promoting a healthy environment and positive experience for all users of the facilities. Daily Cleaning Tasks: Clean and disinfect all restroom surfaces, including sinks, toilets, urinals, mirrors, and countertops. Sweep and mop restroom floors. Empty and sanitize trash receptacles. Restock restroom supplies such as soap, paper towels, toilet paper, and feminine hygiene products. Periodic Deep Cleaning: Perform deep cleaning of restroom facilities on a scheduled basis, including tile grout cleaning, floor polishing, and other tasks as needed. Use specialized cleaning equipment and chemicals for deep cleaning purposes. Inspection and Maintenance: Regularly inspect restrooms to ensure they meet cleanliness standards. Report any maintenance issues such as leaks, broken fixtures, or other damages to the Facilities Supervisor. Ensure that all restroom fixtures are in good working order. Health and Safety Compliance: Follow all health and safety regulations and guidelines. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required. Ensure safe handling and storage of cleaning chemicals. Customer Service: Respond promptly and courteously to any restroom-related complaints or requests from building occupants. Maintain a positive and professional demeanor when interacting with users of the facilities. Record Keeping: Maintain logs of cleaning activities and supply usage. Report inventory levels of cleaning supplies to the Facilities Supervisor to ensure timely restocking.
