Position Overview: The Head Chef will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen operations of a Chinese cuisine BBQ grill restaurant. This role requires creativity, leadership, and a strong understanding of Chinese culinary techniques, particularly in BBQ grilling. The Head Chef will ensure the highest quality of food preparation, presentation, and service while managing kitchen staff and maintaining a clean, safe kitchen environment. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage kitchen staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation. Develop and design innovative BBQ grill menus, incorporating authentic Chinese flavors and seasonal ingredients. Ensure all dishes are prepared to the highest quality standards and in accordance with health and safety regulations. Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and maintain kitchen equipment. Implement and maintain food safety standards, including cleanliness and hygiene. Collaborate with management to set and achieve financial goals, including food cost management and menu pricing. Create and execute special events and promotions, such as seasonal menus and holiday celebrations. Stay current with culinary trends and continuously improve kitchen operations.
