Position Overview: The Store/Restaurant Manager for a Chinese Cuisine BBQ Grill restaurant will oversee daily operations, ensuring exceptional guest experience and efficient restaurant performance. The manager will lead a team in upholding standards, managing inventory, coordinating kitchen and service teams, and driving revenue. Key Responsibilities 1. Operational Management Oversee daily operations and ensure adherence to restaurant policies, quality standards, and customer service excellence. Manage floor operations during service hours, ensuring smooth coordination between kitchen, service, and bar staff. Enforce health, hygiene, and safety standards in compliance with regulatory requirements. Develop and implement efficient processes for inventory control, waste reduction, and cost management. 2. Financial & Budget Management Plan, monitor, and analyze financial aspects, including daily sales, budgets, and profit margins. Set targets for revenue growth and cost control, including monitoring food, labor, and operational expenses. Conduct regular audits of inventory, sales, and cash flow; prepare financial reports as required. 3. Customer Experience Maintain a high standard of guest service by training staff, resolving complaints, and fostering an environment of hospitality. Address guest feedback proactively to improve service quality and customer satisfaction. Develop relationships with regular customers and gather insights to improve the overall dining experience. 4. Team Leadership & Training Recruit, train, and retain high-caliber staff, including servers, chefs, and support team members. Conduct regular training on food preparation, grilling techniques, safety, customer service, and POS systems. Mentor staff, promote teamwork, and handle staff scheduling, shift management, and performance evaluations. 5. Marketing & Promotion Collaborate with marketing teams to plan and implement promotional activities to increase restaurant foot traffic. Maintain a strong online presence through social media and review management. Create and manage special events and promotions (e.g., holiday celebrations, themed BBQ nights) to attract new customers. 6. Inventory & Procurement Monitor and manage stock levels for food, beverages, and supplies to ensure timely restocking and minimal wastage. Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to secure high-quality ingredients and negotiate favorable prices. Conduct weekly or monthly inventory checks and update inventory records.
Requirements: ** Applicable to Singaporeans only due to quota limitations Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality, F&B Management, or a related field preferred. 3-5 years in a managerial role within the F&B sector, ideally in a BBQ or Chinese cuisine setting. Skills: Strong leadership and people management abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Familiarity with budgeting, sales analysis, and inventory management. Knowledge of Chinese BBQ and grilling techniques is advantageous. Proficiency in restaurant POS systems and basic computer skills. Additional Requirements: Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Fluency in Mandarin and English preferred, as it facilitates communication with both local staff and Chinese clientele. Must be able to join within short notice Working Hours: Full-time position with a 5-day workweek. Some weekends and public holidays may be required based on operational needs.
