SUMMARY: • To effectively manage allocation of buses promptly by ensuring the Company delivers a safe, punctual and reliable service. PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITIES: • Ensure the yard is a safe environment at all times and that vehicles maintain the standards expected. • Manage the allocations of buses (with particular attention to the bus types) to BCs to ensure they leave the depot on time to commence in service. • Ensure that the depot parking plan is adhered to in liaison with Engineering. • Communicate and work with Depot supervisor and SCs. • Accurate recording of vehicle allocation based on duties. • Undertake any additional reasonable duties at the request of your DOM. • Undertake any training and development activities at the request of your DOM. • Build strong working relationships with the Engineering Team and the SCs to ensure that resources across the business are maximised. • If necessary, take control of any emergency situations that may arise within the Yard. • Support the communication with employees as you are their primary garage contact.
